Parallel Passages

In Parallel Passages, fictional characters intermingle with real people of the 1800's and the 1960's, giving the reader a peek into three pivotal periods of history - Slavery, Civil War, and the Civil Rights Movement.Parallel Passages follows two families, a black family and a white family, who begin together on a tobacco plantation in Virginia during the 1800's. A small book connects them and their descendents living in the Civil Rights Movement of the Sixties. Throughout this fast-paced action drama these families share danger, love, hate, and history.
