Juicing is by far one of the healthiest options these days. Juicing extracts a lot of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes available in fruits and vegetables that your body can absorb without having to eat many fruits and vegetables. Processed juice in stores that claim to be natural has a lot less nutrients, as they all go through a heating process that destroys almost everything the body needs. If you decide to go into juicing, as with anything else, start by learning the basics about juicing which will allow you to build a good foundation that you can launch from. The first thing you should do to get going in juicing is to find out the health benefits that can be derived from the different fruits and vegetables at your disposal. This will help you determine which juice will best suit the challenges or concerns you may have with your health. Let's say for example you are struggling with joint inflammation. In addition to exercise, juices with celery, cucumber, carrot, beet, and cantaloupe help you to get the nutrients you need for your joints, bone repair and other problems. Be aware NOT to juice cabbage, kale, or collard greens. These vegetables in their raw form are known to suppress thyroid function. Such vegetables should not be avoided however, as they have excellent health benefits, they are just better when they go through some form of cooking. When you plan on juicing on a given day ensure that your vegetables are removed from your refrigerator at least a few hours before you start. Fresh vegetables used too cold for juicing can negatively affect ones gastrointestinal tract that can result in stomach disorder.
