Over one hundred thoughts to challenge your thinking and readjust your life. Most of us want to change our lives in some way because we want a better life but is this a realistic possibly? The fact is change is occurring whether we like it or not, it is a question of whether we positively act to create change for how we want it or do nothing and let change occur without our say. These verses can prompt you to think differently and more carefully. You do have the power to change your life and it all begins with how you think. The phrases in these pages should be used to examine your own thinking. Many are quite challenging and run against the normal flow of thought, for example 'You are the centre of the universe.' This at first might sound ridiculous but a little bit of time given to examining the idea might reveal that because you cannot experience life through anyone else and only through your own sense receptors, that when you expire the universe as experienced uniquely by you will fold up with you and be no more. When you die, the universe as known through you will no longer exist. Yes, the universe will exist in billions of others but each will be the centre of their own existence. But how can there be more than one centre? Simply because we are surrounded by infinite energy which is in constant movement - everything and nothing is the centre at the same time. This short sentence 'You are the centre of the universe' also points to the great responsibility we all have for life. We often see our lives as insignificant but actually the reverse is true, each one of us is the centre and this should compel us to be far more than we see ourselves to be.
