This first installment in "The Goddess War" series should appeal to the older Percy Jackson fans. Here gods and goddesses are on the rampage trying to kill other gods and heroes. Athena and her brother Hermes are dying and they are looking for what is causing their demise. They are searching for Cassandra, the seer, but Cassandra does not know who she really is. Not only is Cassandra in the dark about her true self, but her boyfriend Aiden, her best friend and her own brother, are all part of the world of myth. Athena is like an Amazon woman warrior and she will fight with all her might against Hera, Poseidon, and Aphrodite who are determined to destroy her and her friends.
