To mark the twentieth anniversary of his historic win at the 1997 Masters, Tiger Woods will for the first time reflect on the record-setting win both on and off the course. In 1997, Tiger Woods was already among the most-watched and closely examined athletes in history. But it wasn't until the Masters Tournament that his career would definitively change forever. Woods, then only 21, won the Masters by a historic 12 shots, which remains the widest margin of victory in the tournament's history, making it an iconic moment for him and sports. Now, 20 years later, Woods is ready to explore his history with the game, how it has changed over the years, and what it was like winning such an important event. With never-before-heard stories, this book will provide keen insight from one of the game's all-time greats.

Tiger at his best!

It was a good read. A great player thinks things out so much better then your average golfer. He disects the course in every way. He goes way deeper into thinking things out then your normal player. He figured out on every hole where to place the ball in the fairway for the best results of making a birdie on the hole being played. Tiger in his prime was in better condition than almost every player in the sport. Stronger off the tee, and new exactly where to place the ball on each green for the best results. He has a great thinking process that most golfers don't have. To beat the entire field by twelve shots was amazing. The second part of the book he talks primarily of how the sport has changed. I agree with what he had to say about how the new technology has changed golf not for better but for the worst. The equipment being used now makes the game easier for just about anyone playing today. Long drives and mostly short irons is all it takes anymore. The one who putts the best usually wins the tournament. I liked it when you would see a Ben Hogan having to hit a driver and longer irons to the green. You don't hear of any great players caring a one iron, two or three in the bag anymore. The new technology has ruined the sport. Most players today also work out harder thanks to Tiger. They all started noticing how physically fit he was for such a long period of time. All the changes made to the golf course at the Masters has been mandintory because of the drastic equipment changes. Who would ever think the head of the driver would be as big as the toy drivers bought for kids at a toy store years ago. Being honest i still Love the game ,but as far as watching it on television i don't. It's boring to watch because of the new technology of equipment. I totally agree with Tiger on this issue. All the different shafts, balls etc. have not been a good thing for the game. It should have stayed simple. A regular, medium, stiff and extra stiff shaft. That's what the greats ...
