Weekly Reader Early Learning Library introduces young readers to common concepts in the early elementary curriculum. Simple, repetitive text helps young readers develop literacy skills as they learn important facts about themselves and the world around them. The twelve books in this series are each devoted to a month of the year, covering the number of days, the seasons, weather, and events that make each month special. In July, readers will learn that Independence Day, with its parades, picnics, and fireworks, happens during this month.
