All the ladies who frequent Lehigh, Pennsylvania's House of Beauty are jealous of Debbie Shatsky, whose hunky husband Phil hates sports, loves to cook, and gives a killer backrub. So when Debbie drops dead from a bizarre lethal reaction to glue while getting her hair extensions, everyone points the blame squarely at salon owner Sandy-who unabashedly pines for Phil. Bubbles, her best friend, is eager to rinse these accusations out of Sandy's hair. But with distractions from beau Steve Stiletto, angry ex-husband Dan, and a deranged Santa Claus, Bubbles certainly has troubles of her own.
