The Komoto Dragon is a story that I wrote a few years back to honor a man that I consider to be an excellent leader among men. Mr. Komoto had the presence and manner of a great warlord. He sacrificially gave his time to help make his company succeed. Although he was a quiet well-mannered man, when someone would make a grave and costly error in his company, which he had devoted himself to, he might become angry and "roar like a dragon!" Hence, I came up with the The Komoto Dragon.. The story teaches the transforming power of forgiveness, love, service to others, sacrificial giving and, most of all, what faith can accomplish. Although Master Komoto lays down his life to protect the people he loves, his teachings live after him in the hearts of people. In the presence of enemies who otherwise would never have learned of his great wisdom, the voices of little children speak his parables. In the end they all become one family with the same good values. The author believes this can be accomplished for, as a wise man once told me, what a person believes in the present shall determine what they do in the future.
