Nor did they expect their decision to create what it did. Born, raised, and currently dwelling in Massachusetts, Efra­n Mart­nez was the first in his family to be born in the States. Living and moving within the expectations and celebrations of two separate cultures has become the fuel and inspiration for many of the themes that come up in his life and his writing.
