Before Life Got Complicated

Catching fireflies, bringing home buckets of tadpoles, or fishing in creeks with homemade poles was a typical Saturday for the kids growing up in rural America. While parents worked, kids rambled around the fields and woods; growing up free, no constrictions of time or space ... just being kids. As the spunky free-spirited middle child tells this story her world is changing from one of a five-year-old on the family farm to a strong-willed teen chasing her dreams. With a vivid imagination and a lust for adventure, she shares her life with her dogs and horses while walking to the beat of her own drum. Life for the poor kids was not easy, but they had what is missing in life today, they had a childhood to grow up in. This was the good ole days ... before life got complicated.
