Malcolm Williams' childhood was not a happy one. His alcoholic, abusive father and his enabling mother robbed him of a happy youth. His only source of a role model was the local police chief, Joseph Snow. Malcolm's reaction to his parents' behavior was just as violent, if not more so, than his father's.
