A Journey for Christopher

Mr. Charlie owned a carnival and would stop each year along his crusade throughout the country at a town called Wakefird, where his ultimate mission, as with the other places he would visit, was to bring joy and healing to other people's lives. He was a mystic, a magician, and that was the secret he harbored in the innermost reaches of his soul; not that he harbored this secret intentionally, but for one to understand, in truth, who he really was, it took a person, an elect, with a similar gift inside. He found this in a boy named Christopher who dreamed of becoming a great pianist, and Mr. Charlie, with prophetic vision, put him on a path of trials and tribulations that would awaken his spirit, and deliver into his hands the gift he so longingly true love of a woman, and the knowledge of who Mr. Charlie truly was inside.
