Unfortunately, it suffers from a lack of focused narrative. Equally dense but far more compelling, The Columbine School Shootings gives a detailed account of the 1999 tragedy. With solid research and step-by-step descriptions of how officials dealt with the crime both during and after the siege, MacKay delves into the lives of the killers and the stories of the victims. Both books are well documented. Recommended for readers wanting in-depth information on how crimes are solved.
