Growing Peas in Winter

this book, this collection of my words, is a tribute to, a wink and nod in the direction of, the guiding force in my life...intuition...what i also call the "second living," the awareness that lingers after and surpasses the emotional impact of any experience i have. in any given situation, my synapses celebrate as they get the scoop on what is really going on beneath the surface of things. it isn't that i think my every emotion deserves its own ten thousand dollar production number, but if someone reads something i wrote and is impacted in a positive way by it, if through my writing someone's soul is lifted an inch or two simply by finding another person who sees some slice of life the same way they do...well, i think that's a pretty darn good day on the planet.
