Pokey's World

Meet Pokey, a chubby loveable basset hound, and spend a summer with him and his friends in their backyard. Through the fence they discuss the problems and ideas about life. Pokey imparts his wise, down-to-earth advice, trying to guide his sometimes misguided friends. Pokey shares his home with Mitzie, a friendly, happy, high-spirited Boston terrier, and Slink, a fluffy black cat whose idea of a great day is to nap in her favorite lawn chair. Next door is Ruff and Blitz. Ruff is a German shepherd who longs to get out of his fence and see the world on the other side, and Blitz is an orange and white cat who has seen the world on the other side of the fence, but prefers to stay near his home and his food bowl. Told from the animals' point of view, Pokey's World is a charming story that allows you to eavesdrop and see what's really going on with our four-legged friends.
