Murder as a Second Language

Claire Malloy has recently married Deputy Chief Peter Rosen and moved into a newly remodeled house. With her daughter making plans for college, Claire now has some spare time. Abandoning her attempts to learn French cooking, she volunteers as an ESL tutor with the Farberville Literacy Council. Railroaded onto the Board of Directors, Claire is about to extricate herself from the troubled nonprofit when one of the students is murdered.
