Still, Sonya Richardson can't resist starring on a hit reality dating show to give America a taste of what a real black woman is like. But one contestant is throwing Sonya off her game. He's surprisingly kind, way too easy to spill her secrets to--and giving her the kind of hope she hasn't felt in a long, long time. . .

Widowed former pastor John Bond knows he's the show's "designated white guy," expected to fail every challenge and be gone in a month. He also knows he has to take risks to change his lonely life and find love again. A Good Man is a good find...

From the moment I read the first page, I was completely hooked. I've been reading Mr. Murray's works for a while and when I happened upon this gift, I couldn't resist diving right into it. I love the story of John and Sonya how they both crave the simple life but also crave someone to spend it with. John's story broke my heart but as I continued to read, I was glad that he was taking a step out on faith, hoping that he'd find what he was looking for. This story was filled with such sweet and tender moments, I almost forgot that I was reading an IR romance. With so many IR stories out there that focus on the sex more than the story behind the sex, A Good Man was a nice, refreshing departure. It's how real relationships are made and cultivated. This book was highly enjoyable and one of my favorites ( behind both Renee and Jay books and The Real Thing). Mr. Murray knows how to weave a beautiful story and does it so very well. Excellent work!
