Becca Robins runs a farmers' market in Monson, South Carolina, where she sells her own farm-made jams and preserves. Soon, the market will also serve as a wedding chapel for her friend Linda. But when Linda's future mother-in-law, a local banker, is found bludgeoned to death after a pre-wedding supper, the nuptials are on the line. Never one to shirk a sticky situation, Becca offers to aid Officer Sam Brion. And she has the know-how to shut the lid on a canny killer.
