Grumpersticks

On a hilltop, overlooking the beautiful woodland, stands Grumpersticks, a grand old oak tree. He can oversee the entire woodland, its trees, and all of its natural beauty. He is surrounded by cheerful children, chirpy birds, and pleasant winds, yet, he is all alone. He does not want the children near him, the birds do not occupy him, and the winds only rattle his old skeleton because he is always grumpy and never lets anyone come close.
