The Toluca Crime Report and Other Stories

A collection of short fiction pieces, several of which are based in Mexico or on the Texas border. These and other more domestic stories cover topics ranging from petty theft to terrorism, promiscuity to isolation, freed parakeets to stock trading, and backyard golf to an imaginary game of eight-ball with Norman Mailer. Originally published in 2009 as "Circular Afternoons" with one new story added.
