This is the love story of George and Patty Keller, and their battle with one of the most debilitating diseases of our age - Alzheimer's. He was strong, dutiful and caring, forged at a time when the Old World ways were the only way to do things, but sometimes a little stubborn and strong willed. She was creative, emotional and opinionated, a woman whose kitchen always swirled with the luscious aromas of a homemade Italian meal and exquisite conversation. At times, Patty and George seemed to go together like pickles and ice cream, but their love was unshakeable.
