Foundation Mathematics

Foundation Mathematics is an all new digital learning package designed to engage students and build their confidence in mathematical techniques. The package includes a fully developed WileyPLUS course, as well as a separate downloadabe eTextbook containing embedded media, animations, video and practice activities. Foundation Mathematics is not another heavyweight, generic textbook but a newly developed solution to meet students' learning expectations in the 21st century. Mathematics has been developed for non-specialists studying mathematics as part of their degree course who need to build up their mathematical skills. Starting from basic concepts Mathematics introduces the topics using illustrative media that ease students into the theory and demonstrates how mathematical concepts relate to straightforward, everyday ideas. This unique approach quickly brings students of varying ability up to speed and takes the anxiety out of studying mathematics. Founation Mathematics raises student engagement through a variety of integrated and contextualised tools and media embedded directly into the course, giving students the opportunity to practice and play with concepts for comprehension rather than having to read around the subject.
