We are all born with a series of gifts and curses. It is my experience, that some of those form your self-identity, and dictate much of your life. Attention Deficit Disorder was mine. Growing up I felt hindered by the inability to focus, therefore self-identified as a failure. Yet here I am, 40 years old, professionally and financially successful, artistically trained and skilled, and most importantly happy. In this book, I reflect on why I failed so much at certain elements of my life. I forgive my former self for how I erred as a son, brother, partner and friend. While, from a different angle, I learn to fully appreciate the condition that pushed me to accomplish more than those who grew up around me. I will tell you all the inner secrets and internal struggles of a little boy who grew out of poverty, with the dream of playing music, falling in love and forming a family of his own. Because of my A.D.D. I struggle to finish my projects, and could not think of a better way to fight this than to celebrate my 40th birthday, with one of the most difficult and honest projects to date; My Memoirs. If nothing else, I hope this book buys me another couple of generations before the memory of my inconsequential life is completely forgotten. I hope you enjoy the stories of my life for what it is, an inconsequential series of decisions with no guarantees, and an expiration date.
