A naive shopkeeper. A corrupt rancher. A cattle stampede.

Colleen Middleton doesn't really want to enter the lottery, but Simon Kaufman talks her into it. One moment she's in the middle of a huge wedding day party, the next she's in the middle of a dangerous cattle stampede trying to save her cat. Nothing could've prepared her for the pain Simon will cause her...

King Laramy is in the wrong place at the wrong time. He saves Simon Kaufman's wife, but not before she suffers serious bone-breaking injuries. When Kaufman callously casts her aside, King swoops in and nurses her back to health. But no good deed goes unpunished when Colleen falls head over heels in love with King. The last thing he needs is a woman with hero worship. Or is it? Before long he's the one head over heels in love and he has only a few months to find her before Lottery Day.

A woman determined to disappear. A man determined to find her. A cat who has no clue anyone's looking for her. Read more Continue reading Read less REVIEW
"10 out of 10 stars. For those of you who love romance and think a lot of sex with singles is romance, you're terribly mistaken. The Bride Lottery series is the stuff you read over and over again because it makes you believe in fairytale romances and true love. No words are wasted. There's no vomited backstory, no superlative adjectives to describe the flora and fauna and junk I don't care about. Well-paced and reads really fast. I usually read them twice in one sitting. Haven't read a single novel in the series that I haven't absolutely loved."

"10 out of 10 stars. For a very long time now I've been a huge fan of Caty Callahan's lottery series. The Bride Lottery series and the Marriage Lottery series are both sweet romances. They're wholesome romance novels that are safe for teenage girls to read. For me, it's about the romance, actual romance where a man woos a woman and goes to the ends of the earth for her."

"10 out of 10 stars. The Bride Lottery Fairytales series is probably my favorite series of romances. Each one takes a popular fairytale and creates a romance using those characters with a lottery twist. Perfect for the beach, a picnic, or a Sunday afternoon. These are sweet romances which means if there is sex it is tasteful, not explicit, and between a married couple. I also like that the series maintains wholesome Christian values which is hard to find in any romance novel."
Becky of Book Addicts FROM THE AUTHOR
The world of the Bride Lottery is a different one. An apocalypse has occurred which has taken the population down to less than a percent of what it was formerly. Men outnumber women a dozen to one. There is no central government and not even local ones. The Brennans, collectively called Brennanmen, keep the peace. Magistrates conduct the lottery on April 1 of every year.

In this world, it would seem that romance has been replaced by practicality in the form of the lottery. But once a man's name is chosen there is no guarantee his bride will stay. The good husbands have met this challenge by wooing their brides, convincing them to stay. The bad husbands are left to try again...and again...and again.

While all of the lottery series are considered "sweet romance", here's a little reminder of how the lottery series go together:

The Bride Lottery: teens and young adults
The Marriage Lottery: more adult topics
Brennan Brides: action and adventure, mystery
The Christmas Lottery: action, danger, and a race
The Angel Lottery: more Christian and fantasy
The Divorce Lottery: life as a couple
Bride Lottery Fairytales: a new twist on fairytales

The Bride Lottery series can be read in any order.
Enjoy!
