It all started with a pregnancy pill designed by the government to imbue health and vitality in growing foetuses. The drug, 'Centurion' was heralded a success until trials started. Many died. Those lucky to survive the trial medication grew up 'special'. Striving in a society of normalcy proved difficult. Secrets sprouted following whispers of special abilities and those captured were locked away. Those who escaped capture lived in secrecy, their special powers hidden from the world. Work colleagues Robert, Jess and Jules face a trial harder than that suffered by their parents. Growing up special was frowned upon. Lies consumed lies until the trio met and learned of each other's abilities. It was supposed to be a leisurely walk on the South Downs celebrating a holiday of sunshine. Their plans were quickly thwarted by extreme weather, shared anxiety about returning to work, a manic race across a field of raging bull's, murder most foul and a sinister cult. Growing up special was not easy. Yet they survived unharmed. However, the nightmare awaiting the trio on the Sussex Coast will test their abilities and resolve to the max. A normal person wouldn't survive but a Special might just succeed.
