In our lifetime, we can all expect to face many decisions and to live through many events that will impact the remainder of our time here on earth. Think of how many critical decisions concerning your work and career you have already made. Think of so many unplanned or unprogrammed events that impacted you and yours. Can't remember all of them? How about back in your childhood days, your schooling days, right up to your now days. You may recall many or just a few, but can you remember instances where a decision or significant event was not of your doing? You probably remember decisions on a significant job opportunity that headed you in the right direction. But how about when out of the blue, without any thought or effort on your part a new and improved series of decisions or events provided an even better opportunity with better results. Any decisions ring a bell?Over the next few chapters I will discuss some significant decisions and milestones in my life. They had tremendous impact on the direction and quality of my life, but many of these decisions and events were not of my making. At first, I thought these happenings just occurred without thought or effort. I now realize that I was not the decision maker. These non-decisions seemed to have a much greater impact on my life than many of my own decisions that I thought were great. Then who guided the decision making? As I relate the full impact of some of these decisions it will become apparent that they were managed from outside my decision-making capacity. Read on and you too might find that some decisions and events that impacted your life came from the greatest Friend anyone could ever have.
