In the Death of Love collection, you are witnessing an epic battle between Death and Love.In this drama Death is symbolised by two characters. Firstly, a figure dressed in black holding a sickle in his hand. The second is the use of crows as Death's pets, their blackness linking to the black of the cloaked figure. The concept of Love is depicted by hearts, angels and the angelic woman. Another symbol is the use of clocks with hearts instead of numbers. The hearts get smaller with the passage of time as they lose love.In contrast with the symbols of Death and Love, you see love hearts which I intended to illustrate the loss of kindness, love and affection in today's societies and mankind's future.
