This is the true and amazingly frank story of a man, born into poverty in North Dakota in 1918, and his family who survived the harsh Dakota winters with often barely enough to eat. In 1954, he built his first shot mining machine and the story continues of his trials and tribulations traveling all over the western part of the United States raking shot from gun clubs. Finally, in 1967, he built and openend hisown gun club in Boise, Idaho. His story ends with the death of his beloved Genevieve in 2003.
