Action Reaction

What a stunning package. This book/DVD documents the Action Reaction project undertaken by tattoo artist Adrian Lee. Partly consisting of 50 full color painted panels that when placed together revealed an enormous panoramic of the state of affairs. A cynical, unforgiving, fact based onslaught of imagery exposing subverted truths and forgotten pasts, inspired in equal parts by Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, Barry McGee (Twist) and Banksy. Outside the studio Action Reaction existed as an anti propaganda campaign involving postering, billboard modification, stickering, graffiti, hotel art modification and the like. And to honor such efforts, the package includes 4 stickers, and patch, featuring some of that work. An accordion style book, once unfolded it stretches approximately 20 feet! The DVD documents the ten month process of the project, as well as the work inside and outside the studio including propaganda postering in the US and abroad, other street work and various related happenings throughout the course of the project. And it comes in a box!
