When I Wasn't Looking

A book of poetry and art, with poems by Victoria Sullivan and art by Barbara Milman. A conversation of sorts between poetry and art, where the poems and the art form an installation on the page. Sullivan's poems range from contemplations of the seasons, the natural losses of life, and the humor of daily existence to the endless desire for eros and rebirth. Milman's work, derived from digital photographs, provides powerful images that play off against the words.
