Hurricane Party (Susan Chase Mysteries)

Former Grand Strand lifeguard Susan Chase (Color Her Dead), now an investigator for South Carolina, attends a small but weird hurricane party with her boat-building fiance. In a large, plushly furnished Victorian beach house, "Lady Light" hosts a wiccan power circle meant to push the hurricane away, while Susan tries to figure out what's really happening. The hurricane apparently recedes, but then one guest has a seizure and another is found dead. Susan and her fiance investigate, uncovering motive and opportunity.
