Set in a world of mundane fantasy in which unicorns pull carriages and nobility regularly fall asleep for one hundred years as a tax dodge, Sir Humphrey, Etheos, and the Lady Orville seem to invariably,although accidentally, foil the brilliant if not somewhat notorious schemes of Wyona Wyncliffe and Styver, who always seem to be at odds with the world--and each other.
