A time to remember: An autobiography

The autobiography of Dr. F. William Sunderman was a Pathologist, internist, chemist, musician, photographer, international traveler and raconteur. He was the 1st to institute proficiency testing in laboratory medicine, was a Founding Governor of the College of American Pathologists, served as a Director and President of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, started the ASCP workshop educational program, and founded the Association of Clinical Scientists. In his distinguished career encompassed academic, research, clinical and administrative practice, he has tremendously influenced medicine, and pathology.
