1976 reprint of Interurbans Special 22 which covered the Houston-Galveston Electric Railway, an interurban trolley that ran between the two cities. Includes reprint of April, 1912 issue of The Tangent, Stone & Webster's house magazine, detailing construction of the road, including the Galveston Causeway, and providing information on the line's operation, including stations and stops. Illustrated throughout with black and white photos, maps, and advertisements. Describes passenger and freight service, the impact of the 1915 hurricane, and a ride along the line. With roster of cars and oversized (3 page) fold-out timetable in the center. The inside back cover shows a schematic drawing of one of the cars (in the 1959 edition, this page has a list of Interurbans Press 1959-60 publications. 84 pages.
