Management of Common Problems in Obstetrics and Gynecology

The care of patients with gynecologic or obstetric problems is not limited to obstetricians and gynecologists. Physicians who specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and general surgery may find themselves as the primary care provider or consultant for women with diseases related to their reproductive organs. This book is intended to assist all clinicians who participate in the care of women with obstetric or gynecologic disorders. Each chapter of this book presents the latest clinically relevant diagnostic and therapeutic methods used in gynecologic and obstetric disorders. All of the contributors of this book are either current or former members of the medical staff at the Women's Hospital at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center.
