Introduction to statistics

This text represents an extensive revision of the first edition, An Intuitive Approach. The primary objective is to present the basic concepts and techniques of statistics to the average college student in a clear, meaningful, and easily comprehensible fashion. The approach is basically intuitive in nature; it appeals to the common sense of the students rather than their mathematical aptitude. The emphasis of the text is on readability, clear and patient exposition, and pedagogically oriented organization.
