Special Agent Blair of the FBI has the numbing job of a bureaucrat and the soul of a cowboy. He is about to walk away from the safe world of paper-pushing to risk his life infiltrating an armed group of white supremacists called Wrath. Lauren Miller, Gen-Xer, is an articulate, ironic, and unwaveringly liberal journalist investigating a bombing that Wrath supposedly masterminded. She is also determined to discover how people who have never met a Jew in their lives can be so obsessed with Jews as to want them dead.
