Polish Heritage Art Cal.1999

The town of Cracow, the ancient capital of Poland, seat of its oldest university and home of John Paul II, the first non-Italian Pope in half a millennium, is justly celebrated as well for its architecture and arts. Famous painters like Matejko and Wyspianski lived and worked there. Fourteen reproductions of Polish masterpieces depicting Cracow, its people and customs, its landmarks and landscapes, adorn the thirteenth edition of this unique series, which has featured so far 167 reproductions of 70 Polish painters.
