Grade 4-6-- The cover sketch, in lurid color, of a train holdup is sure to attract readers' attention. However, over half of the brief text is given to illustrations, and the large type and wide leading further limit the content of this minimalist, easy-reading account of the life and career of the infamous outlaw. The authors transcribe accepted facts and do not moralize. --George Gleason, Department of English, Southwest Missouri State University, SpringfieldCopyright 1992 Reed Business Information, Inc.
