The Amani Home for Street Children in the town of Moshi, Tanzania, is a home and a haven for kids living on the streets of the area. Amani gives hope and happiness to many children, as well as an education, food, and shelter. As a grassroots organisation, every donation to The Amani Home makes a big difference to the lives of the children living there. All money from the sale of this English to Swahili dictionary will go to the children of Amani, who have illustrated and helped to make it. The production of this book, which started out as just a fifteen year old's school project, is the culmination of many months of hard work on my part and the parts of the Amani children.
