Piling Engineering

This edition retains the framework of the first edition. The subject matter has been thoroughly revised throughout to take account of recent developments, new techniques and improvements in our understanding of piling engineering. Piling is a fast-moving field, and in recent years there have been major advances in theory, methods, testing procedures and equipment, all of which are covered here. Some new additions include discussion of continuous flight auger piles and interlocking pile-retaining wall systems.
