The Spirit of the Quarry

A stone quarry has flooded and become a safety hazard to the community and over time it has claimed the lives of four young people. Each one died in an accident that could have been prevented if steps had been taken to eliminate the dangers at the quarry. The spirits of these children are trapped at the quarry and cannot leave until it has been made safe for everyone. Through the help of a girl named Beth, who is the only one who has contact with the spirits, their goal is achieved. Beth recruits the people of her town to work together and turn the dangerous quarry into a beautiful recreation area. Because of her efforts, the spirits are finally free to leave the quarry and journey to their destiny.
