Gnostic Apostle Thomas: "Twin" of Jesus

This book has brought together, for the first time, the lore surrounding the apostle Thomas in his recently-rediscovered legendary role as a founder of churches and as the special confidant and closest companion of Jesus, recorder of his master's words, and, in some sense, his twin: blood brother? earthly counterpart? spiritual kinsman? Jesus appears as an inspired and inspiring holy man, encouraging the search for spiritual knowledge (gnosis) in his hearers.
