From School Library Journal Kindergarten-Grade 3--This extremely simple book covers some aspects of Mexican culture but offers no information on the country's history and almost nothing on geography. The contents page highlights a craft (a paper bag piñata), a map of Mexico, a game, and a recipe. The book includes a list of basic facts, a folktale, and a few paragraphs each on pets and on sites of interest. Each spread contains color photos.
