The Go-Between

Review Flyer, a part-Siamese kitten, is born on a working farm in the English countryside. The farmer is very superstitious about keeping cats indoors, but his young daughter wants the kitten for herself and not just as an outside mouser. One day when Flyer is exploring the farm, a bird of prey picks up the mischievous kitten and carries him off. Fighting for his life and badly injured, Flyer escapes, landing near a busy road.
