The Sly Old Cat (Illustrated) (The Tales of Beatrix Potter Book 25)

Beatrix Potter wrote The Sly Old Cat to be published as a concertina book. But these books were awkward for small hands to handle and became easily damaged so the booksellers didn't like them and the project was abandoned. Later, when her publisher wanted to print it with her other books her eyesight was no longer sharp enough for this kind of work. However, the spontaneity of these drawings makes them especially modern and interesting.
