Home Is Where the Hurt Is: Guidance for All Victims of Sexual Abuse in the Home and for Those Who Support Them

This study includes interviews with many women victims and several male abusers in order to provide information for anyone wishing to understand or offer support to the victims, and also in an attempt to analyze the behaviour of attackers. The author, herself the victim of sexual abuse, explains how she found ways to help herself overcome the trauma of abuse and rebuild her life. She lists the types of therapies she found the most useful in the hope it may help others.
