British Museum guide

Welcome to the British Museum. It is, as you can see, an enormous place, and many people visiting it for the first time find it a little daunting. But though we can't make the Museum any smaller, we can make it easier to understand; and that is the real purpose of this guide... We have divided these into two tours; the first, absed on the ground floor, covers the ANcient World; the second explores some of the upstairs galleries and looks at the developement of the Western World.
