From School Library Journal Grade 5-8-- Now students can take a tour of the Falls through pictures and prose. Granfield introduces readers to its explorers, adventurers, daredevils, and heroes. Historical and geographical facts about the Falls are included, along with bits of trivia. Although the material is scattered, and the book is not comprehensive, it does give enough information for reports. It should also appeal to students who may be planning a visit to the Falls. The large print, frequent headings, and photographs or drawings on each page make this an attractive book. Only a small section is devoted to Niagara Falls' most serious problem--chemical pollution--and students will need to investigate further for information on this subject.
