The 58 stories in this collection range over a wide variety of characters and topics: Cuban-Americans, jazz clubs, sex, nude beaches, drug addiction, conservation, racism, Disney World, Sea World, Russians, the terminally ill and others. Although most of the settings for these stories are in Orlando, others take place in Cape Canaveral, Tampa, Ft. Myers, Miami, Key West ("where the weird turn pro") and other locales. Some of the stories would be considered too farfetched---except they were based on true incidents.
